Today, the study of music across all levels of education is facing extremely difficult challenges. We all know the value to individuals and society that learning, making, studying and understanding music can bring. Indeed, many of us have benefitted from a system that in the past was far more supportive of music education.
The RMA recognises this and as part of our 150thAnniversary celebrations we are launching a Post-Doctoral Fellowship Scheme, for early career and independent scholars not holding full-time, open-ended Teaching and Research positions in Higher Education.
