Hosted by: University of Bristol Music Department
4th March 2025, 1- 4 pm, G.22 (Albert’s Bar), The Victoria Rooms, Bristol BS8 1SA
This event is designed to outline potential pathways to publication in musicology, broadly conceived, with speakers outlining their experiences at various points along the journey. We have speakers from a range of disciplines within musicology: the afternoon will cover Medieval music, C19 opera, popular music, and jazz. The first half of the session will address journal articles, and the second half monographs. There is time built in for Q&A and discussion after each, and there is time for mingling before, midway and after the scheduled events.
The event will run in person and virtually. Please email k.williams@hud.ac.uk to reserve your spot.
