We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Hettie Malcomson, Associate Professor in the Music Department at the University of Southampton, for a five-year term as co-editor of the Journal of the Royal Musical Association. Hettie will replace Dr Freya Jarman – who finishes a seven-year stint as co-editor of JRMA at the end of 2024 – but will begin working alongside both Freya and the journal’s other co-editor, Prof. Deborah Mawer, in autumn 2024 to allow her to settle into her new role.
